About Us

Our Mission
The Southtown Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA) Board is committed to strengthening the Southtown district by reinvesting in its growth and development. Through Tax Increment Financing (TIF), we allocate resources to enhance infrastructure, support local businesses, and improve the overall experience for residents, visitors, and stakeholders.
Our Vision
We envision a thriving, vibrant Southtown district where businesses prosper, public spaces are welcoming and well-maintained, and the community continues to grow in a way that reflects its unique character. By fostering collaboration between business owners, residents, and leaders, we aim to create a district that is both economically strong and community-driven.
Our Goal
Our goal is to effectively implement the TIF development plan by identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and strategically investing in projects and programs that drive long-term success. We strive to maintain strong communication with the business community, ensure thoughtful allocation of resources, and champion initiatives that promote sustainable growth across all Southtown corridors.
